In Vernazza in Piazza Marconi, the "salon of the Cinque Terre" you will find Trattoria Gianni Franzi.
Formerly known as the "Trattoria Della Stella" more than half a century ago, the restaurant was purchased
by Gianni Viacava in the 1960's. From then on it became known as the obbligatory stop for those who want to taste
the typical cuisine of the Cinque Terre and the restaurant aficionados of Liguria.
The first rooms were realized at the end of the 1960's and were restored existent old homes in the center of town.
In 1997 other rooms were restored in an adjacent building on the rocks, high above the sea.
Almost all of these rooms enjoy a splendid view of the golf of the Cinque Terre.
